Confessions of a lapsed birder

An intermittent confessional from a lapsed birder, (okay occasional birder and semi-retired twitcher), delighted, (for now), Burnley follower, environmental consultant slave-worker, (my boss is a b*****d called Brian Minshull!), and father of two..... (that will do for now - the description I mean, not my attempts at fatherhood!).

About Me

My photo
Brian Minshull
Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
I am a sixty something 'bloke' who by day, (and often night), is an environmental consultant, running my own company, specialising in providing environmental support to development projects, (helping them do the right thing hopefully / basically). I am also father to Ellen and Tessa, an avid Burnley fan, and in my spare time, a birder, although my passion in wildlife goes way beyond birds. Nowadays, I am also Honorary Secretary of the Isle of May Bird Observatory and Field Station Trust and an active member of the Bean Goose Advisory Group and National Goose Forum. For those remotely interested in further details I also have a business website www.bcmenvirons.com which is serious need of an update (a bit like me!), and I have also (in a desperate attempt at the latter), dabbled with both Facebook, Instagram and twitter.... .
